The quantum of E-waste, being generated in the state, has leap frogged many fold in the last decade and is assuming humongous proportions. The presence of hazardous materials like mercury and cadmium, renders the above said rejections extremely harmful to the environment and the society. Inordinate dumping and indiscriminate disposal of the ever growing E-waste has the potential to pollute the god’s own country, no end. The absence of a scientific recycling facility in the state has hampered the proper management of E-Waste being generated from the various government institutions/departments in Kerala.

In an effort to ensure that the E-Waste emanating out of the government departments/institutions and other organizations functioning in the state, are recycled and disposed off scientifically, we have made arrangements to collect E-Waste, along with tube lights and CFLs, from all the government institutions in Kerala,  scientifically recycle the same in association with a leading recycling organization approved by the central pollution control board and Kerala state pollution control board and to issue the mandatory destruction certificate for the recycled E-Waste.
